I got bored :)

My logo

Took me forever to come up with something for a logo, so for now I think its going to be this! Its based on a teddy I have had, like forever! and I've never really known what its ment to be (will get a picture up soon). But I love my teddy and I knwo i'm nearly 21 but I don't ever want to get rid of it! I've made some slight changed to it to get abit more detail, (but the safety pins are actually on the teddy as my mum accidently ripped the ear off years ago and I've never sewn it back on!
I hope this logo is good enough for now but I will come up with something abit more 'me' when I have more time to think about it.

I can sketch too!

Playing with Textures!

Here I was playing about with something I drew on photoshop, Instead of just normalling colouring it in with paint bucket I decided to add some textures to it in different ways. Getting very into working with textures lately, enjoying it very much!

Attempting Illustrator

It's nothing special, but thought I'd have a play around at tracing, colouring and making shapes. I kinda like it, with abit more practice i'm sure I can get better!

Pandora

A comic strip for Kerrang Magazine (used to read when I was younger) I think the artists name is Ray Zell. (www.rayzell.com/pandorastrips02.html). Just thought they were quite interesting drawings, and some funny comic strips. While bored one night and looking through these I decided to draw myself and my friends in a similar style to this.

Portrait Painting

I thought I would make a page for some work I do at home in my spare time as I may possibly be able to refer back to this for my work at some point in this year.

This is a painting I did over the summer, reason being that I room had been re-decorated and I wanted something to put on my wall instead of random posters, so I decided to do this painting of me and my friends. I'm not great at drawing/painting portraits but I am very proud of this piece of work, It isn't picture perfect but I like my use of thick paint and shading. I really like this piece that I did and I hope to do some more a some point in the future.

My Cartoons

Over the summer, When I was bored I started to draw cartoon versions of me and my friends, I drew them out in pencil, then drew over them in thick black felt and scanned them into photoshop, I then coloured them in using photoshop. I got this technique from my summer project. I think it worked really well.
